Will James Gunn's Superman movie trailer be released in an event?
The first trailer for James Gunn's Superman movie will reportedly be released in mid-December. If that is accurate, we should not have to wait long for it. However, that timeline suggests the trailer will not come attached to a major event, as CCXP will happen a week or two before then, and the next event would be the Super Bowl, which only comes in February 2025. As such, I think that, as DC did with the announcement of the DCU's slate, some people might see the trailer early, and it will then be shared with the public.
What did you think of the first 8 minutes of Aaron Taylor-Johnson's Kraven the Hunter?
Sony has surprisingly released the first 8 minutes of Kraven the Hunter. I liked the footage. While the movie does not present anything major in the scenes that are shown, Taylor-Johnson's character is shaping up to be a cool one to follow. The R-rated action sequences are also handled well, so I'm keeping an open mind when it comes to Kraven, even if Sony's Spider-Man Universe is not among my favorite franchises.
Which of the DCU's first confirmed 5 movies and TV shows are you most excited about?
James Gunn has confirmed that Creature Commandos, Superman, Peacemaker season 2, HBO's Lanterns series, and Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow will be the first 5 movies and TV shows released in the new DC Universe. Since I have wanted to see David Corenswet play Superman since first watching a project with him in 2019, Gunn's Superman movie is the DCU project I am the most excited about.?
Are you more excited for Marvel or DC's 2025 movies & TV shows?
Both Marvel and DC have some exciting releases set to come in 2025. Where films are concerned, I would say that James Gunn's Superman movie is the one I'm looking forward to the most, while the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Fantastic Four reboot stands in second place. As for TV series, the MCU takes the top spot, as Daredevil: Born Again is one of the superhero projects I have been the most excited about in years. That said, Peacemaker season 2 is also a major release that I can't wait to watch.
What do you think is the future of the Sony Spider-Man universe?
I find it very strange that no other Sony Spider-Man Universe movies have been announced following December's?Kraven the Hunter. Currently, Sony just has the animated?Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse?movie,?Spider-Man 4?in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and a live-action?Spider-Man Noir?series. It's hard to see what might be in the works outside those three projects, though I wouldn't be surprised if Sony might try a complete reboot of sorts, perhaps wanting a fresh start with an interconnected universe that actually includes Spider-Man to a much greater degree.
Is Tyler Hoechlin's Superman better than Henry Cavill's?
With Superman & Lois soon coming to an end, I have come to the realization that I enjoy Tyler Hoechlin's Man of Steel more than Henry Cavill's. The DC series has the same dramatic tone as Cavill's Superman appearances; however, it also allows plenty of times for Hoechlin to turn up the charm and deliver a pitch-perfect Clark Kent, which I don't think Cavill really got to do. At the end of the day, Hoechlin did a better job on both sides of the hero than Cavill for me.
What are your predictions for the Superman & Lois series finale?
There is only one episode of Superman & Lois left. Major events are set to happen in the DC show's finale, especially since the Kents will have to go up against both Doomsday and Lex Luthor. I still believe that Lois or Clark will be able to reach Bizarro within Doomsday, with the character sacrificing himself so that Superman can have his Kryptonian heart and live. Also, I believe the show will end with Jonathan and Jordan as heroes, flying off to save the world as Lois and Clark watch.
Do you want Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch to come back to Marvel & stay after Avengers: Secret Wars?
Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch might be dead right now, but after Agatha All Along's many teases that Wanda Maximoff will return, and with Olsen also speaking about how she wants to come back for a good story, it is hard to believe that Wanda will not return. An MCU soft reboot is rumored to happen after Avengers: Secret Wars. While some actors would be recast in that situation, at 35, I would love to see Olsen stay in the MCU for another decade. Wanda can lead a solo trilogy and be an important player in the X-Men's MCU story.
Will Bucky Barnes die in Marvel's Thunderbolts*?
It was reported that the original story of the Thunderbolts* movie would have seen the team die while on a mission. It's unknown how many characters die in the finished movie, but based on how Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes is the film's most popular character and one of the MCU's longest-running heroes, I believe that if Thunderbolts* is to have a major death, it will be him. However, I ultimately think Bucky will not die, and if that is to happen, one of the next two Avengers movies would be the place for it to happen.
Are you planning to give Kraven the Hunter a chance when it release in December?
It's no secret that most of Sony's Spider-Man Universe films haven't been very well received, particularly?Morbius?and?Madame Web. Likewise, the SSU in general has been quite baffling for some time with confusing post-credits scenes and a frustrating lack of Spider-Man himself. However, I'm still going to give?Kraven the Hunter?a chance when it releases in December. I've got low expectations in terms of greater universe connections, so I'm just hoping for a good and compelling story.
What would like to see from Hawkeye season 2?
Recent reports suggest that Hawkeye season 2 will soon begin official production. When it does ultimately release, I would love to see a greater focus on Kate Bishop as she becomes the new Hawkeye. I'd also love to see the show help kick off the Young Avengers, especially after? The Marvels'?post-credits scene where Kate was recruited by Kamala Khan's Ms. Marvel.
Which character are you most excited to see in the DCU's Creature Commandos?
While the entire Creatures Commandos roster looks pretty intriguing, I'm most excited to see how the relationship between Frankenstein and The Bride will play out. Likewise, I very much want to know what Rick Flag Sr.'s relationship will be with Amanda Waller, especially after the death of his son in 2021's?The Suicide Squad.
Should the Young Avengers have a TV series or a movie in the MCU?
The MCU already has many possible members for the Young Avengers. Recently, a new video also teased that Ironheart, America Chavez, and Cassie Lang are going to be part of the upcoming Marvel team. The Young Avengers have no project announced at the moment, and I believe that a Disney+ series would fit the team better than a movie. The Young Avengers should have a large roster, and a TV show would allow the audience to spend more time with these characters and get more interactions and character development out of the squad.
Would Deadpool & Wolverine's original ending have been better?
Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy revealed that the MCU movie was originally set to reveal that Deadpool and Wolverine had survived the ending almost immediately. However, a note from Blake Lively led to more tension being added to the moment, with Paradox making a speech before the heroes arrived. I like the finished movie's ending better, as the thought that one or both of the heroes might have really died made the moment they appeared safe and sound more epic and emotional.
Did Kathryn Hahn just tease that Agatha Harkness will not return to the MCU?
Kathryn Hahn recently spoke about her time in Agatha All Along. While the actress did tease that she would love to continue playing Agatha Harkness and does not know what the future holds, Hahn stated that she faced the MCU series as a "satisfying way to say goodbye to this incredible character." Based on the success of the MCU series and how Agatha and Billy Maximoff have a new mission ahead of them, I'm convinced that we will see Agatha again, with Hahn's comments simply being a worst-case scenario kind of thing.
Will Tyler Hoechlin's Clark Kent die in the Superman & Lois series finale?
Superman & Lois season 4, episode 9 ended with Doomsday taking away a bruised Man of Steel. Since Clark Kent is now losing his powers, it will be hard for the weakened Superman to defeat Doomsday and Lex Luthor in the Steel suit. As such, I think there is a strong chance that Superman might die fighting them. If the Man of Steel ends up beating Doomsday and Lex Luthor somehow, I believe that Clark Kent might die all the same, only due to General Sam Lane's heart not being a match for his body, perhaps in a flash forward.
Does Superman & Lois have the best live-action Doomsday?
Doomsday returned in Superman & Lois' latest episode. The character had already played a major role at the end of season 3 and the start of season 4. However, Doomsday's return in Superman & Lois season 4, episode 9, saw the monster receive a new look. With bigger bone protrusions, I believe the DC series now easily has the best live-action version of Doomsday. Not only is the creature important plot-wise, but Doomdsay also looks perfect.
Is Henry Cavill's Superman suit better than David Corenswet's?
It has been revealed that David Corenswet auditioned to become the DCU's Clark Kent in Henry Cavill's Superman suit. We now have seen quite a few set photos and videos of David Corenswet's Superman costume, as well as an official image shared by DC. I prefer the brighter tone of Corenswet's Superman suit, as well as the addition of Superman's classic red trunks. However, I'm not a fan of its baggy look, and Henry Cavill's sleeker costume is better in that regard.
What do you think about the rumors that Kraven won't have any Spider-Man or SSU ties?
It's been rumored that Sony's upcoming Kraven the Hunter movie won't feature any ties to Spider-Man or to the greater Sony Spider-Man Universe. While that is pretty disappointing, my expectations for Sony's universe have fallen massively low. At this point, I'm just hoping for a good story where Aaron Taylor-Johnson delivers a strong performance.
What's been your favorite surprise cameo in the MCU's Multiverse Saga?
Chris Evans returning to the MCU as The Human Torch is one of my favorite surprise Multiverse Saga cameos thus far. I especially loved Deadpool's assumption that he was Captain America at first. However, I was also a big fan of John Krasinski as a variant of Mister Fantastic, and Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock in?Spider-Man: No Way Home.
