About the Cabin
The cabin is a modern, three-level house with 2 bedrooms and a loft, two bathrooms, a dining area, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a washer and dryer. The living room features a flat-screen TV with satellite service, a DVD player, a stereo, cozy furniture, and high ceilings. The game room includes an arcade-style air hockey table with free play. The cabin also has playing cards, poker chips, some our favorite board games and a karaoke machine. The house features a long, elevated balcony in the front, and a large, private deck in the back with a natural gas barbeque grill.

The cabin has been in the family since 2000 and was personally renovated by us. Do not be afraid of the back-to-nature vibe of the Lake Arrowhead area: the house has modern electricity and plumbing, running water, central heat, and a toasty, cast iron, word-burning stove. A landline phone is available for 911 calls only, but you’ll have no problem getting reception for AT&T and Verizon cell phones (if you actually want to!).

The cabin is located in the hills southeast of Lake Arrowhead, close to the community of Cedar Glen. Although paved roads lead to the cabin and there are neighbors nearby, the hilly terrain and towering pine trees surrounding the property convey a woodsy privacy despite being in a modern, well-appointed community. The cabin is clean and well-maintained and we encourage all our guests to help keep our home in the same comfortable, livable condition. You will not be disappointed by our accommodations.

About Arrowhead
Lake Arrowhead is a friendly mountain community in San Bernardino County, California. Only about 11,000 people call Lake Arrowhead home year-round, but millions visit each year. The town is known for its scenic views, its tall pine trees, and the 15.8 billion gallon lake in the center of town. Lake Arrowhead is a popular destination for conventions and business retreats and is known for its annual Fourth of July fireworks and Oktoberfest celebration.

In the winter, visitors are drawn to nearby snow skiing and snowboarding, while in the warmer seasons swimming and watersports are popular. The San Bernardino Mountains are filled with hiking trails and nature centers, with plenty of options for mountain biking and off-roading. While the Lake Arrowhead reservoir provides a strikingly scenic backdrop for all visitors, the lake itself is private property and only members of the Arrowhead Lake Association may use it for recreation activities. Nevertheless, boat tours and boat rentals are available to visitors, and swimming at nearby Lake Gregory and Silverwood Lake make for great day trips.

Lake Arrowhead Village is a charming commercial development on the southern bank of the lake and represents the retail center of the area. The shopaholics among you will enjoy the charming shops and fashionable outlets, not to mention the various restaurants in the area.
